Privacy notice
1. Who we are
Pink Tape is a trading name of Eccentrixmark Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). We provide advertising and lead-generation services to UK law firms.
- Company number: 17510026
- Registered office: 5, Trust House, New Augustus Street, Bradford, BD1 5LL
- Email: [email protected]
For data protection purposes, Eccentrixmark Ltd is the controller of personal data collected through this website.
2. What data we collect
Enquiries and leads are passed straight to the law firms we work with and are not kept by Pink Tape.
We may collect:
- Identity and contact details you submit via our audit form (name, firm name, work email, phone number, practice area, approximate ad spend, and any message you include). These details are sent by email to [email protected], using the form service Formspree, so we can pass them to the relevant firm. We delete those emails once they have been passed on.
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type and approximate location, collected by our hosting provider's server logs.
- Cookie and similar technology data, as described in our cookie policy.
We do not knowingly collect special category data through this website. Please do not include client case details or other sensitive information in the form.
3. Why we use your data (lawful bases)
- Responding to your audit request — to reply to your enquiry and arrange a call (legitimate interests; or steps prior to a contract if you ask us to quote).
- Running and securing the website — server logs and essential cookies (legitimate interests).
- Optional marketing follow-up — only where you have asked us to contact you about our services, or where the soft opt-in under PECR applies to existing customers. You can opt out at any time.
- Legal obligations — where we must keep records for tax, accounting or regulatory reasons.
4. Who we share data with
We may share personal data with:
- Hosting, email and form-handling providers who process data on our instructions (processors).
- Professional advisers (for example accountants or solicitors) where needed.
- Regulators or law enforcement where required by law.
We do not sell personal data. We do not buy or sell shared leads.
If a provider stores or accesses data outside the UK, we will use an appropriate transfer safeguard (such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations).
5. How long we keep data
- Audit and lead enquiries sent by email: deleted once they have been passed to the relevant law firm.
- If you become a client, contract and accounting records are kept for as long as those purposes require.
- Server logs: typically up to 90 days, unless needed longer to investigate a security issue.
- Marketing suppression lists: kept for as long as needed to honour opt-outs.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, rectify, erase or restrict your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and request data portability where applicable. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
To exercise your rights, email [email protected] or write to 5, Trust House, New Augustus Street, Bradford, BD1 5LL.
7. Children
This website is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
8. Changes
